Serving Process
Definition:
The Serving Process outlines the steps required to serve customer orders through the system. This ensures that each order is properly recorded, tracked, and updated in real time.
- Step 1: Double-Click the Table Number
- From the list of tables, double-click the highlighted table number to access its active orders.

- Step 2: Double-Click the Item to Be Served
- Select and double-click the specific item that is ready to be served.

- Step 3: Print Dispatch Slip
- A dispatch slip will automatically be generated.
- The slip includes the following details:
- Table Number
- SO Number
- Item Ordered
- Date and Time

- Step 4: Monitor Table Color Change
- The table’s color will update automatically to reflect the current status of the orders:
- Orange – Orders are partially served.
- Grey – All orders are served but not yet paid

- Step 5: Monitor Item Status
- Each served item will be crossed out with a line in the middle to indicate it has already been served.
